Which toilets is ViFresh available for?
The new ViFresh technology is currently used only in our Subway 2.0 DirectFlush (5614-A1) and Vivia DirectFlush (4643-A1) DirectFlush toilets.
What must I bear in mind before and during installation of ViFresh?
There is a special opening in the ceramic and the flushing pipe in which the ViFresh adapter must be securely mounted. Then follow the standard procedure for installing a toilet.
How can I check that the adapter I have mounted is watertight?
Follow the installation instructions provided. Check the watertightness around the water inflow pipe as you normally would. During installation make sure that all seals are in the correct position. Do a test flush when installation is complete. The inside of the ViFresh lid may be damp, but the O-ring (see below) must stay dry.
How should I care for ViFresh?
Rinse the holder thoroughly under running water under running water each time you refill toilet gel or replace a rim-block to guarantee lasting benefit. Use a mild soap solution to clean the toilet. Do not leave the toilet seat or hinges damp. Dry them with a soft cloth. Contact with toilet cleaners or chlorinated, abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents may lead to damage or surface rust on the seat/lid and hinges. You should therefore always keep the toilet seat and lid raised until the cleaning agent has been flushed away.
Do I need a special tool to install ViFresh?
The (special) tool required for installation is provided. Do not use metal tools, and do not use excessive force on the ViFresh components.
