Built in 1918, the Hotel Majestic Barcelona is a five-star property located along the glamorous Passeig de Gràcia and next door to the famous Antoni Gaudi building La Pedrera. Situated in close proximity to the city’s most exclusive shops, as well as being close to the financial and business district of Barcelona, the long history of the Hotel Majestic Barcelona has made this boutique hotel an iconic symbol of Barcelona’s finest traditions and luxury hospitality.

In addition to its prestigious location, the hotel also houses the city’s largest hotel suite, being the 500 square meter Majestic Royal Penthouse. Located on the ninth floor of the hotel, the Penthouse includes two to three bedrooms for up to six guests, along with dining room, living room, bar and spectacular terraces that overlook Gaudi’s famed Sagrada Familia.

Between 2010 and 2013, the Hotel Majestic was renovated by architect Aodenario (Antonia Obrador). Carefully combining different design elements, the result is trendy and eclectic with the most modern of facilities. These facilities include a new health club, roof top pool and state of the art meeting rooms. As part of this extensive renovation, modern fittings from Villeroy & Boch, specifically their Hommage and Loop & Friends Collection, were selected because they integrated well with the architect’s vision and style.

Offering an elegant and unique experience, guests and visitors of the Majestic Hotel Barcelona can also admire a collection of Vanguardista New Art of the 20’s and enjoy the sophisticated gastronomic pleasures the hotel’s bars and restaurants, including the most exclusive restaurant in the city: The Drolma.
