Following extensive renovation, the indoor swimming pool known as the “Schwimmoper” reopened in 2010. PRO ARCHITECTURA tiles highlight the modern feel of the facilities, including the large visitor terraces next to the competition pool.

The tile experts also helped to retain the original look of this listed building. With a love for detail the V&B Artefactur specialists reproduced tiles based on old models. They used historical moulds to make the thin tiles that are quite unconventional by today’s standards. With the aid of colleagues from the ceramic development department they were able to exactly reproduce the colours of the time to produce the original distinctive mosaic pictures in the swimming pool.
