Anyone waiting under Rathenau Square in Nuremberg for the underground railway is in good company. Together with Artefactur, the Nuremberg-based architect Georg Hiltner created the portraits of Walther Rathenau and Theodor Herzl: thousands of mosaic stones were used to create larger-than-life portraits, each covering an area of 750 m².
