Since 2008, the Almdorf Flachau, located around 70 km to the south of Salzburg in Austria's biggest ski area, has been a popular destination in both winter and summer. In view of the great success of these self-catering chalets, the builder Peter Promegger has opened a second chalet village, called Promi-Alm. The individually designed bathrooms in the new chalets feature washbasins and toilets from various current Villeroy & Boch sanitary collections, emphasising the homely atmosphere of the interior design while providing outstanding functionality and hygiene.
Spectacular glass lift
The five new chalets are located right next to the piste at the Achter-Jet cable car and enjoy a view of the surrounding mountains and the centre of the village of Flachau. They are accessed through an underground garage using a lift framed with wood and dark glass and offering spectacular mountain views. Small sun terraces with barbecue facilities are located between the individual chalets. A bar is also available for celebrations or special events.
Austrian charm and modern comfort
In contrast with the traditional Alpine cabin atmosphere of the existing chalets, the interior design of the new buildings revolves around glass and metal and combines Austrian charm with the modern comfort of stylish luxury apartments. The chalets can sleep four to twelve people. The ground floor is occupied by the en-suite bedrooms and a wellness area with a sauna, shower and relaxation area. The kitchen, dining and living areas are located on the top floor with open beams.

Interior design consisting of a blend of natural stone, mature wood and leather creates a pleasant sensation of well-being. The result is a cosy and yet modern atmosphere that pervades all the way to the bathrooms. With its puristic and yet organic appearance, the filigree My Nature surface-mounted washbasin is an exclusive design highlight.
Hygienic and economic
The rimless DirectFlush toilets ensure outstanding hygiene as well as offering financial benefits: the modern flushing technology, with a splashguard at the top of the bowl and an intelligent flushing system, rinses the entire surface of the inner bowl without splashing and combines this optimal performance with water consumption of just 3 or 4.5 litres per flush. The fully glazed rimless design also allows quick and thorough cleaning with reduced consumption of cleaning products.
