CUSTOMIZED DESIGN

Unique designs in outstanding quality.

To make promotional products even more attractive, Villeroy & Boch offers its B2B customers a special design service:
We use various finishing techniques, such as ceramic screen printing or laser engraving, to ensure that your logo or décor truly shines on our products. Our designers can also create a brand-new design for you if required. A wide range of designs are possible – from special décors in your company colours to extravagant full décors.
The choice of finishing techniques is fundamentally determined by the chosen material, as well as the technical feasibility of the motif and the respective minimum quantities. Learn more about our finishing techniques:

Ceramic screen printing

This technique allows the creation of photo-like décors, which are then transferred to the porcelain by hand using a decal. In these processes, the colour brilliance differs somewhat from offset printing, as the colours used must correspond to the ceramic colour scale.
Layout creation, press proofs and print runs are part of a complex production process that involves firing temperatures of up to 1,100°C – resulting in colourful advertising media that are dishwasher safe.

Full décor screen printing process in colour

Possible on porcelain; minimum quantity 1,000 pieces per item or mixed items from 3,000 pieces, dishwasher safe

Logo screen printing process in colour

Possible on porcelain; minimum quantity 500 pieces, dishwasher safe

Sandblasting

Possible on glass and porcelain; minimum quantity 100 pieces

The blasting material roughens the surface of the glass or porcelain. With glass, the blasted surface appears matt; with porcelain, a deep relief is created in which the colour of the porcelain is retained. A very elegant way to display fonts and logos. The sandblasted product remains unchanged in terms of its functions and use.

Laser engraving

Possible on various materials (on request); minimum quantity 500 pieces

The frosted effect is achieved with the CO2 laser and allows the creation of intricate details and extremely sharp and precise reproductions. Logos and lettering can be brilliantly reproduced on glass, stainless steel, wood and coloured porcelain.
