There is an 18th century building in the middle of this area steeped in history: the Grotthuss Hotel. The building houses over 20 comfortably furnished rooms and suites, a gourmet restaurant and a hotel bar. There is also a conference room for business and private events as well as a clothing shop right in the hotel. The Grotthuss Hotel’s interior design, in the handwriting of managing director Edita von Grotthuss, combines modern furnishings with historic design elements, such as ceiling decorations, objects of art and original paintings by Lithuanian painters, all with loving attention to detail.

Tradition and luxury stylishly staged

The guest bathrooms of the individually appointed rooms are equipped with premium Villeroy & Boch collections, which continue the historically inspired design of the building and at the same time offer the best comfort of use. Hommage, for example, gives the bathrooms a charming retro flair with elegant washbasins on slender wooden furniture, while Antheus has a timeless, classic aesthetic with balanced proportions and geometric contours. The free-standing Antheus bath is staged as an eye-catcher in the consistently black-white ambience, while the toilet and bidet, both wall-mounted, are quietly integrated into the bathroom design. The washbasin is delicate and transparent with a rectangular surface-mounted washbasin on a slender black top with metal substructure. The spacious shower area Squaro Infinity, which is installed level with the floor and is made of the patented material Quaryl^®, which can be tailor-made to any desired size and shape, is anti-silp and meets all requirements for hygiene and efficient cleaning.
