High-quality wall and floor design for modern bathrooms – PURE LINE concept in PANDION Gardens
The new PANDION Gardens district in Neuhausen-Nymphenberg close to Munich city centre is in a prominent location with timeless architecture and an urban living style in green surroundings. Designed by Römer Partner Architekten from Cologne, the 145 apartments in nine modern buildings on a park-like former post office site are arranged so that the occupants can make use of the different green areas. Apart from the well-developed infrastructure with many shops and public transport, there are also attractive recreational facilities nearby: the königlicher Hirschgarten with its large beer garden and Nymphenburg Palace and Park with the adjoining Botanical Garden.
The apartments, which all have an underground garage space, range from 35 to 151 m² in size and have two to four rooms with a balcony, loggia or terrace. The total area is around 11,500 m² and the project volume 79 million euros. The first phase was completed at the end of 2016 and the second phase is planned for completion in 2018.
The interior design features the PURE LINE porcelain stoneware range from Villeroy & Boch in a choice of ten colours ranging from cool grey to warm beige. The coordinated colours and various formats in the PURE LINE concept offer the planner numerous design options, the puristic impression of silk matt concrete with various structures presenting a distinctive and timelessly modern appearance on both large and small surfaces. The range offers the possibility of tone-in-tone designs and stark contrasts. The combination of different formats produces additional vitality, which is particularly effective on bathroom walls or shower areas.
