Located in the Podil district, one of the oldest quarters of Kiev, the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv was designed and constructed by the Ukrainian construction company Masterbud. The interior design is by Interiors International, also from Kiev. Surrounded by majestic architectural landmarks, including Kiev Pechersk Lavra and St. Sophia Cathedral, this twelve-story hotel provides breathtaking views overlooking magnificent golden domes and the impressively vast Dnirpo River.

The classic silhouette and Baroque style of the building, completed in 2012, succeeds in blending seamlessly with the historic surroundings. Designed by Interiors International, the spaces inside the hotel are large and cinematographic. With such a luxurious feel and spacious character, it is truly a grand hotel.

Covering an impressive 47,518 square meters, the hotel’s interior has a palatial feeling with its elegant and traditional design. In addition to the hotel’s 258 rooms, including 59 suites as well as royal and presidential suites, the hotel offers a lavish variety of amenities. In addition to the lobby, lounge and bar areas, conference rooms, ballroom and spa, there’s an atrium restaurant with a stained glass roof that creates the sense of loftiness and grandeur that defines the Fairmont Grand Hotel chain on many levels.

This sense of grandeur continues into the hotel’s extraordinarily large guest rooms which start at 40 square meters. With classic décor, they are tranquil yet full of details like the subtle lines and moldings throughout the room. The Hommage line by Villeroy & Boch, which was used to furnish the bathrooms, perfectly mirrors this style. The natural materials, distinct patterns and elegant paneling combine modern with traditional, sense with sensibility and comfort with luxury.
