Living options for every need
Residenz Losheim am See is located in the Saar-Hunsrück nature park just 200 meters from the Losheim dam. The facility offers a variety of living options: assisted care, nursing care and care.
The apartments for supervised living includes 38 one-room and 18 two-room apartments between 24 m² and 65 m² in a pleasant country house atmosphere. The cheerful rooms are equipped with senior modified bathrooms, balconies or terraces and kitchens as well as radio, TV and telephone lines and WLAN. Various additional services can be used as part of the nursing care living. It’s also possible to try out living there for a limited time.
For long-term, short-term, preventative and post-rehabilitation care, there is an in-house medical center with 20 private rooms and 12 double rooms that are equipped with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and 24 hour emergency calls.

The owner placed great value on durability, high quality material and design for the construction project choosing Villeroy & Boch comfort solutions to equip the bathrooms. The built-in sinks, toilets and urinals are from the Subway 2.0, O.novo, O.novo Vita and Architectura collections which combine high quality aesthetics with refined functionality.
The Subway 2.0 line stands for confident style and minimalist shape while O.novo Vita is specially design for handicap access. All products meet the highest hygiene standards: The rimless toilets feature smart water management that provides complete flushing of the total interior of the bowl without splashing. These innovative DirectFlush toilets are also quickly cleaned, ensuring good hygiene especially in the nursing sector. And: They are also water-savers, using only .8 or 1.2 gallons per flush which makes them very positive in ecological and economical terms. The same thing applies for the urinals that are equipped with the sensor control ProDetect and combine practical comfort with great efficacy.
In addition to the sanitary ceramic, Villeroy & Boch tiles were also used in the Residenz Losheim am See. The foyer and stairwell was designed with Century Unlimited, a color and pattern design that combines the functional advantages of fine stone with extensive design options. In the bathrooms, the East End tile line with a natural-looking sandstone appearance was used - on walls and floor - as well as mosaics in 7.5 x 7.5 cm format with anti-slip class R10/barefoot B in the showers.
